The Potter RTS-O is a normally-open room temperature switch built around a bi-metal operating mechanism with hermetically sealed precious metal contacts. The contacts reset automatically after each operation, so there's no sensing element to replace after a temperature event trips the switch. Its small, compact housing resists vibration and corrosion, and it can be installed with the enclosed mounting hardware or an adhesive pad, wherever a simple, self-resetting temperature-actuated contact is needed in a detector circuit.
