The 4906-9127 Multi-Candela TrueAlert A/V Notification Appliance combines high-quality audible and visible alarm components with SmartSync technology for synchronized operation. These appliances are suitable for wall mounting and come with options for selecting strobe intensity. The housing is durable and resistant to impact and vandalism.

These appliances provide efficient fire alarm notification while complying with accessibility requirements, making them suitable for various applications, including commercial and industrial settings.

• Audible/Visible Notification: Equipped with an efficient electronic horn and a high-output xenon strobe for both audible and visible alarm notification.

• ADA Compliant: The operation of these notification appliances is compatible with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements, ensuring accessibility for all.

• Rugged Housing: The housing is constructed from high-impact, flame-retardant thermoplastic material, available in red or white with a clear lens.

• SmartSync Operation: Operates over a two-wire SmartSync circuit, providing separate control for horns and strobes on the same circuit. Offers "On-until-silenced" and "On-until-reset" modes on the same two-wire pair.

• Strobe Synchronization: Strobe appliances on the same circuit operate at a synchronized 1 Hz flash rate, minimizing the potential for photo-sensitive reactions and random flashing.

• Class B and Class A Operation: Supports Class B operation when connected to a compatible SmartSync NAC (Notification Appliance Circuit) or SmartSync Control Module (SCM) 4905-9938. Class A operation is possible when connected to the 4905-9938 SCM or a 4100U series fire alarm control panel NAC.

• Wall Mount A/Vs: These A/Vs are designed for wall mounting and are compatible with standard electrical boxes. Wiring terminals are accessible from the front for easy installation, inspection, and testing.

• Strobe Intensity Selection: During installation, the desired strobe intensity is selected using a plug at the back of the housing. A flag with visible letters indicates the selected intensity.

• Listings and Approvals: UL, ULC, CSFM Listed; FM Approved; MEA (NYC) Acceptance; approved by the California State Fire Marshal; accepted for use by the City of New York Department of Buildings (MEA35-93E).

• Synchronized Strobes: Synchronized flashes are provided for multiple strobes to reduce the possibility of photo-sensitive reactions and minimize annoyance from random flashing.

• SmartSync Control Sources: Compatible with various Simplex fire alarm control panels and control sources, including the 4006, 4007ES Hybrid, 4008, 4010, 4010ES, 4100ES, and 4100U Fire Alarm Control Panels, the 4009 IDNet NAC Extender, and the SmartSync Control Module (SCM) 4905-9938.
