The Siemens AD2-XHR is an air duct monitoring housing designed to detect smoke and combustion products in HVAC ducts. When paired with a compatible smoke detector, it samples air moving through the duct system to provide early warning of smoke presence, facilitating timely shutdown of the HVAC system to prevent smoke circulation.
