Simplex 4090-9118 IDNet 2 Relay IAM (Individual Addressable Module)

The Simplex 4090-9118 is an addressable relay module designed for use with Simplex fire alarm control panels that support IDNet communication. This module provides a supervised input for monitoring contact closures and a relay output for controlling external devices, all while occupying a single address on the IDNet loop. 

Key Features:

• Dual Functionality: Combines a supervised input and a relay output within a single module, allowing for efficient monitoring and control applications.

• Supervised Input (T-Sense): Monitors normally open dry contacts and can differentiate between various states, including normal, open circuit (trouble), short circuit, and current-limited conditions. This feature is useful for applications such as damper position monitoring. 

• Relay Output: Provides a Form C (SPDT) relay output that can be used to control external devices like fans, dampers, or other equipment. The relay operation is independently controlled and can be programmed for various functions. 

• Compact Design: Enclosed in a compact housing that minimizes dust infiltration, the module mounts in a standard 4-inch square electrical box, facilitating easy installation. A visible LED indicator flashes to show communication status.
