Simplex 4090-9002 IDNet Relay Individual Addressable Module (IAM)

The Simplex 4090-9002 is an IDNet Relay Individual Addressable Module (IAM) designed to provide fire alarm control panels with remote control over a Form “C” (SPDT) contact. Utilizing IDNet addressable communications, it facilitates both data transmission and module power, enabling efficient control of various building systems.

• Addressable Control: Allows fire alarm control panels to manage a remotely located Form “C” contact, enabling integration with systems such as elevator capture, HVAC control, and damper operations. 

• Compact and Sealed Design: Features an enclosed construction that minimizes dust infiltration, enhancing durability and reliability. The module is designed for mounting in a standard 4-inch square electrical box, facilitating straightforward installation. 

• Visible LED Indicator: Equipped with a visible LED that flashes to indicate communication status, aiding in system diagnostics and maintenance.

• Power Source: Supplied by IDNet communications, eliminating the need for external power sources. 

• Relay Contact Ratings:

• Power-Limited: 2 A at 24 VDC for transient suppressed loads; 1 A at 24 VDC for inductive loads.

• Non-Power-Limited: 0.5 A at 120 VAC for transient suppressed loads. 

• Wiring Connections: Utilizes screw terminals suitable for 18 to 14 AWG wire, supporting both in and out wiring configurations. 

• Environmental Operating Range:

• Temperature: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C).

• Humidity: Up to 93% relative humidity at 100°F (38°C), non-condensing.
