Honeywell 4219 Wired Zone Expansion Module

The Honeywell 4219 is a wired zone expansion module designed to provide up to eight additional hardwired zones of protection for Honeywell VISTA-15P, VISTA-20P, or VISTA-21iP alarm control panels. It serves as an ideal solution for expanding existing security systems when additional hardwired alarm devices are required, but no more available zones are present.

Key Features:

  • Expansion Capability: Adds up to eight additional hardwired zones of protection to compatible Honeywell VISTA alarm control panels.
  • Wiring Flexibility: Supports end-of-line resistors (EOLR) supervision or Normally Closed (NC) wiring for each zone, with configurable Dip Switches for selecting the wiring options.
  • Included Resistors: Includes 1K or 2K ohm resistors required for each EOLR zone, simplifying installation and setup.
  • Zone Termination: Each programmed zone may need to be terminated with a resistor, depending on the Dip Switch setting, eliminating the need for resistors in unused zones.
  • Mounting Options: Can be mounted remotely in the included white plastic enclosure or inside the existing alarm control panel's cabinet, providing flexibility in installation.
  • Tamper Feature: Plastic enclosure includes a built-in tamper feature, activated by installing the included tamper magnet and setting DIP switch 8 to the off position. Removal of the cover triggers a tamper alarm.
  • Metal Cabinet Installation: Mounts horizontally below the alarm control panel inside the metal cabinet, with self-tapping screws provided for secure attachment.
  • Tamper Disable: Setting DIP switch 8 to the on position disables the case tamper feature when mounting inside the metal cabinet, eliminating the need for the cover.
