Siemens FDBZ492-HR Air Duct Monitoring Housing

The Siemens FDBZ492-HR is an air duct monitoring housing designed to detect smoke and combustion products in HVAC duct systems. When paired with compatible smoke detectors, it enables the shutdown of the duct system and/or activation of supplementary equipment as managed by the system control panel.

• Integrated Relay: The FDBZ492-HR model includes an internal relay, allowing for direct control of external devices upon smoke detection. 

• Wide Air Velocity Range: Designed to operate effectively within air duct velocities ranging from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute, ensuring reliable performance across various HVAC system configurations. 

• Environmental Resilience: Capable of functioning in temperatures from 32°F to 100°F (0°C to 38°C) and humidity levels between 0% and 95% (non-condensing/non-freezing), making it suitable for diverse environmental conditions.
