The Siemens FDO421 is an intelligent, addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with Siemens fire alarm control panels. It utilizes advanced microprocessor technology and a state-of-the-art optical sensing chamber to provide reliable and accurate smoke detection.

• Advanced Detection Technology: Employs a wide-spectrum photoelectric sensor with an infrared light-emitting diode (IR LED) and a light-sensing photodiode. This design enhances sensitivity to a broad range of smoke types while minimizing false alarms. 

• Built-in Isolation Technology: Incorporates ISOtechnology, allowing for True Class X signaling line circuit (SLC) operation. This feature enhances system reliability by isolating short circuits, ensuring the rest of the system remains operational. 

• Microprocessor-Based Design: Features advanced microprocessor circuitry with error-checking, self-diagnostics, and supervision programs, ensuring high reliability and reduced maintenance. 

• Tri-Color LED Indicator: Equipped with a tri-color LED that provides 360° visibility, offering clear visual indication of the detector’s status: green for normal operation, yellow for trouble conditions, and red for alarm states.
