The Napco SLE-MAX2-FIRE is a StarLink Fire MAX 2 Series universal commercial fire alarm communicator designed to provide reliable and code-compliant alarm signal transmission. It offers dual-path communication capabilities, utilizing both cellular (5G LTE-M) and/or IP networks to ensure robust and uninterrupted connectivity. 

Key Features:

• Dual SIM/Dual Path Communication: Equipped with dual SIM cards, the communicator automatically selects the optimal cellular carrier (AT&T or Verizon) based on signal strength at the installation site. It supports both sole and dual-path communication, allowing for cellular-only or combined cellular and IP reporting. 

• Universal Compatibility: Compatible with any brand of 12V to 24V fire alarm control panels (FACUs) that communicate using Contact ID and 4/2 protocols, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems without the need for panel reprogramming. 

• Labor-Saving Supervision Features: Includes four supervised, programmable End-of-Line Resistor (EOLR) zone inputs and two Form C relay outputs, eliminating the need for additional supervision modules and simplifying installation. Additionally, it features two telephone-style jacks for easy FACU connection. 

• Panel-Powered Technology™: Standard models are powered directly by the connected panel, eliminating the need for extra power supplies or conduit, thereby reducing installation time and costs. 

• Over-the-Air Upgradeable Firmware: Allows for remote firmware updates, ensuring the communicator remains up-to-date without requiring on-site service visits. 

• UL Listed & NFPA 72 Compliant: Meets UL 864 standards and complies with NFPA 72 fire code requirements, ensuring adherence to industry regulations for commercial fire alarm systems.
